Metaphor

On the sun-drenched beaches of the Caribbean, another sea creature rises—its delicate, translucent skin shimmers flamingo pink, its surface like the fragile shell of a deep-sea crab. Strange yet graceful, it lies on the shores of Paradise Island—an apparition from the hidden depths.

Structure – Simple but Effective

A rigid grid defines the layout of the apartments.  The grid is primarily defined by partition walls, but dissolves into columns, where spatial generosity is required. The structural core can be built with prefabricated components. The skin, which is supposed to be the signature feature of the building will be applied later.

Feel Pampered!

74 Studios, all with a terrace and a sea view, are designed to create a feel-good atmosphere. Some Studios provide a small kitchen, some can be combined to accommodate more than just a single or a double occupancy.

Socialize – Meet Other People

We offer facilities that give the guest the freedom to stay “inside” and simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of the hotel. People from all over the world with an open mind, either digital nomads, or just travel-addicted with an adventurous mind, as well as water sports aficionados are at the right place. The Hotel offers a Bistro/Restaurant a Co-Working area and a spacious salt water pool.

Explore – Hub of Activities

Complementing leisure activities including water sports activities in the adjacent marina and also excursions to neighboring tropical islands can be arranged.

Go to other Islands by boat, by air or relax in the nearby SPA. This place can organize almost all activities. If you want, put your feet in the warm sand of nearby Rose Island, or if you are adventurous go for a shark dive. You can also catch a seaplane to one of the Outer Islands.
Either way, you’ll be excited to return to, where you can share your experiences with others.

FOMO

There isn’t anything like that in The Bahamas. The inherent vibe of living the life style of digital nomads, who combine work and leisure to a self-determined life is exemplary for the millennial generation and will attract guests from anywhere. It may be a new brand for Paradise Island – it will go viral and only guests who haven’t been to The Yacht Club will have that uncomfortable feeling of missing out….
